What's the Difference?

Confused about which session type best fits your needs? Here are a few short descriptions of each session:

Ask Me Anything Webinar: an open forum where participants send in their questions and the DoD session presenters answer them in a group setting.

Office Hours: 10-minute sessions where participants can ask specific questions about working with the DoD in a private setting with the DoD SciTechCONNECT team.

One-on-One's: 30-minute sessions where participants can provide an in-depth introduction to their research interests and discuss how their research may fit into the DoD mission in a private setting with the DoD SciTechCONNECT team.

  • Collaboration Hub Office Hours

    Join office hours for quick 10-minute check-ins, to ask specific questions, and to discuss next steps with the DoD SciTechCONNECT team. This is a forum to discuss ideas, seek guidance, and exchange thoughts on potential technological pursuits. This informal setting encourages productive discussions between you and the DoD SciTechCONNECT team. NOTE: These sessions are in high demand. If you are not able to attend your session, please let us know as soon as possible. If you're looking for an opportunity to have a longer discussion about your specific work with the DoD SciTechCONNECT team, we encourage you to sign up for a 30-minute one-on-one session.

  • Collaboration Hub One-on-One Meetings

    Discuss the potential alignment of your expertise and research interests with the DoD's mission. Book an individual session with a DoD SciTechCONNECT team member to discuss your ideas and receive feedback and guidance on next steps. These 30-minute sessions are available on a first-come, first serve basis. In order to reserve your session, please complete the request form in its entirety. NOTE: These sessions are in high demand. If you are not able to attend your session, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
